Job Description

The Aircon Technician is responsible for performing assembly, installation, routine
maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of residential, commercial, and industrial HVAC/R
(Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration) systems. Representing the official
retail arm of Robinsons Appliances and Savers Appliances, this role delivers high-caliber
technical service compliant with safety and energy-efficiency standards.

Key Responsibilities
• Install, commission, and test split-type, multi-split, VRF/VRV, and package HVAC
systems according to manufacturer specifications.
• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostic checks, leak testing, system
evacuations, and refrigerant charging.
• Identify operational malfunctions, perform system repairs, and replace damaged
electrical or mechanical components.
• Provide technical explanations, usage advice, and post-service walkthroughs directly
to commercial and residential clients.
• Complete service sheets, job orders, and safety logs accurately after every
assignment.

Job Specification
• Education/Certification: TESDA NC II in RAC (Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning)
Servicing or equivalent technical diploma.
• Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience installing and servicing split-type,
inverter, and VRF HVAC units.
• Skills: Proficiency in refrigerant handling, brazing, reading wiring diagrams, leak
testing, and operating pressure gauges and multimeters.
• Key Traits: Safety-oriented, diagnostic problem solver, reliable, and client-focused.
• License: Professional driver’s license (Restrictions 1,2 or A,A1,B) is a plus.
