August 15, 2024, Angeles City, Pampanga – The BW Golf Driving Range, the premier driving range in Pampanga, officially opened its doors on August 15, 2024. Owned by Savers Group Holdings, Inc., this state-of-the-art facility celebrated its grand launch with an event attended by prominent figures from business, government, and the local community, marking a significant milestone in the region’s emergence as a leading sports tourism destination.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony was led by Savers Group Holdings Inc. Chairman & CEO Jaime ‘Jack’ Uy, President & COO Jansen Ivan Uy, and Executive Vice President Justine Shaun Uy. Located behind Best Western Plus Metro Clark in Balibago, the BW Golf Driving Range offers a top-tier 24-bay, 220-yard practice facility designed to challenge golfers of all levels. With a contoured bluegrass fairway, strategically placed pins, sand traps, target circles, and a sloped putting green, it’s an ideal destination for honing golf skills.
During the opening, guests toured the facility, which features advanced swing analysis technology, spacious practice bays, and a course meeting international standards. A key moment of the launch was the announcement of the upcoming Pitch and Chip Tournament on September 8, 2024. Open to golfers of all skill levels, the tournament will feature categories for Class A, B, C, and Ladies, with champions and runners-up in each group. Tickets, priced at Php 2,000, include access to a dinner buffet, drinks, a raffle, and surprise giveaways.
